The ASMAS Awards start from one observation: many of the people who build Senegalese sport remain unseen. Federation officials, club presidents, coaches, referees, wrestling promoters, journalists and managers will now be honoured every year.
17 categories are open to the vote, from Best Male Athlete to the Inclusive Sport Award. The final score combines the public vote (60%) and an expert jury's score (40%). Six special awards, including the Exceptional Merit Award and the ASMAS Pioneer Award, are decided by the jury.
Voting takes place online in the ASMAS Awards section of the platform, at 100 CFA francs per vote, paid by Wave, Orange Money, Free Money or card via Bictorys. The gala night will gather 600 to 900 guests in Dakar in December 2026.
