ASMAS is founded
The association is founded in Dakar on 11 February 2014 by graduates of the UCAD-FIFA-CIES sports management programme.

Samsidine Diatta becomes president
He leads the association for two terms, until 2024.

Panel on sports facilities
On 17 December 2023 in Dakar, ASMAS brings together experts and former ministry officials around the question: “Managing sports facilities: which model for Senegal?”

2024
Ibrahima Fall elected president
Two candidates stand, Cheikh Oumar Aïdara and Ibrahima Fall. The General Assembly of 4 May 2024 elects Ibrahima Fall.

2026
First ASMAS Awards
The association launches an annual event honouring the whole Senegalese sports ecosystem, and modernises its digital tools.
