Origins
Shining a light on those who stay in the shadows
Senegalese sport is going through a period of deep change. Driven by the Lions' AFCON titles in 2021 and 2025, and by figures such as Saly Sarr, it enjoys unprecedented popular enthusiasm.
Yet many of those who build this ecosystem remain in the shadows: federation leaders, club presidents, coaches, referees, wrestling promoters, journalists, managers.
The ASMAS Awards create a prestigious annual event to celebrate the whole ecosystem, encourage excellence and strengthen cohesion among its actors.

How much does a vote cost?
One vote costs 100 CFA francs. You choose the number of votes (1 to 500 per payment) and the amount is calculated automatically. You can vote as often as you like, in every category.
How do I pay?
Payment goes through Bictorys, a licensed payment aggregator: Wave, Orange Money, Free Money or Visa / Mastercard. Transaction fees may apply depending on the operator. A receipt is sent to the e-mail address you give.
When are my votes counted?
As soon as Bictorys confirms payment, usually within seconds. If payment fails or is cancelled, no votes are credited and nothing is charged.
How is the winner decided?
Final score = public vote × 60% + jury score × 40%. The jury scores anonymously on a category-specific grid, supervised by an independent observer.
Can I follow the voting trend?
Yes: each nominee shows the number of paid and confirmed votes received and their share of the category, updated live. This is not the result: the winner is decided by the final score (public vote 60% + jury score 40%), revealed on gala night.
Are the special awards voted on?
No. The six special awards are decided by the jury, outside the public vote.
